This interior design project has transformed a 170 sqm duplex into a sophisticated and modern space, completed in 2025 and spread across three levels: the ground floor, the first floor, and the attic. In line with the clients' requirements, we strategically repositioned the kitchen to optimize functionality, and in the living area, we created a dedicated home cinema space. This area features discreetly integrated speakers within the walls, furniture, and ceiling, offering a captivating audio experience and perfect ambience for relaxation. The first floor, designated for the children, was carefully designed to reflect the uniqueness and needs of each space, with each bedroom having its own bathroom. In the daughter’s bathroom, modern design choices come to life with colorful wallpapers and a freestanding bathtub accented by terracotta tile finishes, while the son’s space is styled in sophisticated hues of sage and grey taupe. In the attic, reserved for the parents, an additional bathroom has been added to the master bedroom, alongside a second innovative living area separated by a glass wall. This room opens to a terrace that is planned to be covered and elegantly finished, thereby enhancing the overall area of leisure and social interaction. Throughout the home, natural materials such as wood, stone, and microcement blend seamlessly with soft pastel tones to create a warm and inviting environment. Carefully curated ambient lighting further accentuates each area by providing both sophistication and comfort. The project was driven by continuous, in-depth discussions with the client, ensuring that every detail was executed to the highest standards—from the initial concept stage to the final oversight of the works. The bathrooms are bathed in soft LED ambiance lighting, creating a peaceful retreat.Marble and minimalist tiles bring a sense of luxury and simplicity, complementing the overall modern aesthetic. The open layout and spacious living room offer plenty of room for lounging, featuring comfortable sofas ideal for unwinding. A design meant for a young couple that is inspired by their personalities and needs. The ground floor area is balancing industrial accents triggered by the brick wall that was already in the architecture project. We softened this by adding greens, velvets and nature themed wallpapers. We centered the theme around Brancusi, the client being from Targu-Jiu, Brancusi hometown. The kitchen is smartly functional and is featuring an island that is the main space of the house. Upstairs the space transcends into an oasis of calm and wellness dictated by the moon themed bedroom and wavey tiles in the bathroom. All the design in tied with microcement on the walls and floors.
